Who May Join S.W.G.?
Only persons sharing a common bond may join the S.W.G. FCU. This is referred to as the "field of membership." S.W.G. FCU's field of membership includes the following:
Employees of Southwest Gas Corporation
Immediate Family Members - defined as: spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild. This includes step or adoptive relationships.
Members of household - defined as: persons living in the same residence as a member, who participates in the maintenance of and is a permanent member of the household.
How to Join
A Share (savings) Account may be opened at any or the credit union offices or by mail. An initial deposit of $50 is required, along with a one-time administrative fee of $5, which entitles our members to the services and benefits of S.W.G. FCU.
